The Journal of Geriatric Oncology is an international, multidisciplinary journal which is focused on advancing research in the treatment and survivorship issues of older adults with cancer, as well as literature relevant to education and policy development in geriatric oncology. Elsevier and SIOG are delighted to announce that the Journal of Geriatric Oncology has received its first Impact Factor. The Impact Factor for 2011 is 1.000 ( Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports 2012). Inclusion in these databases will ensure that authors publishing their work in the Journal of Geriatric Oncology receive international exposure and recognition.
